Information

Phoenix welding fluxes are delivered in protective packaging to meet the needs of normal transportation, handling, and storage. Attention should be paid to ensure that transportation and storage conditions are dry and appropriate for this type of product. If the original package has been open for more than 24 hours, is damaged, or if it has been stored for extended periods then the welding flux should be re-dried before welding.

quality welding flux supplier(s)It is recommended that welding flux should be redried whenever the welding application is of a critical nature where the best properties and crack resistance are required.

Redrying should be carried out at 300 - 350⁰C for 1 hour minimum. Ensure that all flux in the drying container reaches this temperature. In particular the flux at the center of the container should reach this temperature for at least 1 hour. It is good practice to stir or agitate flux if possible during the drying process to help with moisture removal.

Recycling Flux

Used flux may be collected from the finished weld and recycled. Remove slag, metal, mill scale, and any other contaminants from the flux. Remove any accumulated fine powders or slag from recycled flux to maintain welding performance. Suitable sieves may be used for this. To maintain weld integrity it is advisable to remove any metal particles, mill scale, or grinding dust that may have accumulated in recycled flux. This may be accomplished with a magnetic flux separator.

Add approximately 20% minimum of new flux when using recycled flux to maintain proper welding characteristics and weld metal properties.

Zhengzhou Fenghuang New Material Technology Co., Ltd, also known as Zhengzhou Phoenix New Material Technology Co., Ltd (hereinafter referred to as “Phoenix Welding”), commenced operation in mid 2014 with completely new facilities incorporating the latest process designs drawing on the best production technology from around the world. It has already grown to be the leading manufacturer of welding fluxes for submerged arc welding.  Phoenix Welding produce both agglomerated fluxes and fused fluxes.

Phoenix Welding attaches great importance to scientific and technological innovation and it has a team of professionals includes several with nearly 30 years of working experience.

Phoenix Welding has consecutively introduced 30 sets of inspection and testing equipment related to submerged arc welding products such as the Internationally advanced X-ray fluorescence spectrometer. The company established "Gongyi City Special Submerged Arc Welding New Material Engineering and Technology Research Center", "Zhengzhou Special Submerged Arc Welding New Material Engineering and Technology Research Center" and "Henan Province Submerged Arc Welding New Material Engineering and Technology Research Center". These research centers have already passed the acceptance and are put into operation officially.

Phoenix Welding operates under a comprehensive quality management system certified to ISO9001. The submerged arc welding fluxes produced are used in a wide range of industries such as machinery manufacturing, high-rise buildings, boilers, ships, aerospace, wind power, nuclear industry, metallurgy, mining, petroleum, chemical industry, hydro-power industry, bridges, offshore drilling platforms and other economic construction fields. Our products have passed certifications such as Lloyd's of the UK, CE of the European Union, NAKS of Russia and China Classification Society .
